GOLDEN VEGETABLE STEW
Turn that frown upside down, into a smile and self isolate into a journey of self love and self care.
Honour your body with simple root vegetables. Get ready for spring give yourself a nutritional boost, with a hearty bowl of
‘Golden Vegetable Stew’.
- 4 large Carrots
- 1 large Red Onion
- 1 Small Sweet potatoe
- 1 Can of butter beans
- A Good splash of Olive oil
- Fresh thyme
- Sea Salt
- Black Pepper
Chop onions and slice carrots. Pour olive oil in saucepan, add thyme, pepper and sea salt, gently fry turning fast not to burn the herbs. Stir in the onions until all coated with oil and herbs; then add the carrots and potatoes keep stirring until all seasoning and oil covers all the ingredients.
Continue to fry, when carrots begin to soften, add buttet beans including water. Add half a pint of water bring to the boil around 5 mins. Reduce heat and simmer around 10min. Tasty tip…longer it simmers the thicker is gets…add more salt and pepper to your taste enjoy.
Continue turning down the heat a little.

- Frozen Corn
- Fresh corn on the cob
- Fresh Coriander
- Coconut cream
- Sea Salt
- Black Pepper

Asparagus, Leek & Broccoli
- Asparagus Tips
- Tenderstem Broccoli
- Leeks
- A generous splash of Olive Oil
- Sea Salt
- Coarse Black Pepper

It is important to play music 🎶 for your soul to sing…in order to create the mood for the food…
‘Soul Soup’
Wash & cut the rough ends off the Asparagus, Broccoli & Leeks.
Slice the Leek
Heat the Olive Oil & season with the salt & pepper, in a deep frying pan, or wok.
Add to the oil the Broccoli, Asparagus & Leeks, fry gentle until they wilt.
Add warm water, to create a stock, continue to Broil.
Remove from heat, rough blend with a stick blender, leaving small chucks of Broccoli, Leek and Asparagus.
Let simmer, stirring gently
Season with a little more salt and pepper to taste.
Juicing is also an amazing alternative to catch and hold on to vitamins and minerals to help the body repair, heal, rejuvenate and maintain its performance.
- 2 Green Apples
- 1 Cucumber
- A handful of Spinach, or any Greens of your choice
- A sprig of fresh Parsley (optional)
Remove core from apples. Juice apples and Cucumber with skin. This is a refreshing Juice, with sweet taste from the apples.

Fresh Orange, for vitamin C & the sweetness. No need for honey. Lemon & of course Ginger. With a dash of Turmeric.

Turmeric, is an amazing natural spice that encourages flexibility to the joints. And is also known as an anti- inflammatory.
In the Caribbean ‘Ginger‘ is used to season food, giving it a natural heat & spice flavour.
Little fact: It is was also used to reduce bacteria in meat, because of the hot climate.
Orange has a wonderful natural sweet flavour & is rich in vitamin C, to assist you with restoring healthy happy Cells.
Looks’ like a mess, but it gives your tummy a rest!
Juicing, or Smoothies is a fantastic way to get a natural dose of vitamins into your body.
