I Am Happy, I Am Good, I Am Happy, I Am Good…

This time last week, I was preparing to go camping alone, to a festival alone.  I have been reflecting a lot about myself.  Am I Happy? Am I Good?

To be honest my happiness, as morphed into a ‘Happi-Mess’.  A Happy-Mess of worrying, not Happy, not good.

It didn’t take long, during reflection to see, my ‘Happi-Mess’…because the feeling, discomfort is actually stronger than the visualisation. 

My ‘Happi-Mess’ moves in waves, sailing through ups and downs successfully finding the medium of yes you’ve guessed it, a ‘Happi-Mess’.

Happi-Mess, is a balance where everyone around me, is happy, healthy and whole in their comings and goings because they have my time, attention and will to do has they please to be consistently ‘Happy, and Good’.  Whilst I remain in my Happi-Mess, grasping oh so sweet moments of being Happy and Good.

I have no one to look to, but myself, I can only make choices for myself so in a funny sort of….I want to break free, from this ‘Happi-Mess’, I began to look at what I did not like, what I was doing, my habits, patterns that had created my you guessed it my ‘Happi-Mess’.

Looking around me, there are no longer babies, young ones, family who need my time and support.  They can manage, but make choices to hold my time and support.

So little by little, I have been making I am Happy, I Am Good choices.

Yes, Yes, Yes! Go, Go, Go! Choices.  So here I am all booked up to go camping 🏕…at a Festival ☺, Vegan, Holistic Festival…Everything that makes me ‘Happy’, makes me ‘Good’.  Releasing myself from my ‘Happi-Mess’, that is unfulfilled.

I explored delicious Vegan food, walked, slept under the stars adoring the Moon, in its crescent 🌙form.

I watched the Sun rise…

And watched the Sunset.

I danced until nearly midnight, invited my body to return to Yoga, find my ‘Yoke’ to be open, stretching with no clocks, no alarms. 

Sat by a lake, stepped into the lake, wade in the water…sending my ‘Happi-Mess’ away, for me to become Happy and Good.

I chose to live in the moment, using balance…I felt I didn’t have to ‘Paddle Board’

Balance is always within
Ripples of Future Happiness 💧

And just like that…I made a single choice….I Am Happy, I Am Good, I Am Happy, I Am Good….

Healing Meditation Siri Gaitri Mantra

Posture: Sit in Easy Pose (sitting on the floor, with legs crossed) or in a chair with feet planted firmly on the ground, with the spine straight, and a light Neck Lock applied (chin pulled back slightly).

Mudra: The mudra (hand position) is most important. The elbows are bent down by the sides, and are tucked comfortably but firmly against the ribs. The forearms are almost perpendicular to the floor, with the hands extended out at a 45 degree angle from the center of the body. The palms are flat but not rigid, facing
up, the wrists pulled back, fingers together. Consciously keep the palms flat during the
meditation. 

Eyes: Eyes are closed.

Mantra: This mantra consists of 8 basic sounds:

Ra Ma Da Sa, Sa Say So Hung

Raa Maa Daa Saa, Saa Say So Hung

Kundalini Yoga Studio Classes Return From Tuesday May 18th

It is so exciting to announce from Monday 17th May onwardsYoga Sara studio doors will re-open!   

Great News! This means Kundalini Yoga Classes will resume Tuesday 18th May 2pm-3.30pm. 

Please be advised, Yoga Sara studio will be adhering to all COVID guidelines in order to keep us all safe and insured.

My Sunday…

My Sunday was truly a day spent counting my blessings.  I was grateful for life, for loved ones and all things bright and beautiful around me.

I began to surrender on a journey to let go of what I can’t control.  I can’t control ‘Feeling physically tired’…I went back to sleep, because my mind, body and soul needed rest, needed sleep.

I practiced kindness…watered the plants, the herbs in my home, without haste.  I talked to them, spent time running the water to reach a temperature not to startle, the roots.  I was kind to myself, when I felt myself drifting in and out of sleep…I didn’t fight it.  Instead I gathered my pillows cushions and duvet and immersed myself in a sound Bath of gongs, mantra and affirmations of love, light, healing, for love, health, protection and projection.

I listened to my heart…because it is always right.

Finally, the most blissful act of all is…To ‘Breathe’ just to ‘Breathe‘.  I inhaled, slowly, deeply.  Exhaled, slowly, deeply.  Recognising each deep inhalation…was an emotional fight to make haste to exhale out, make haste to move on with life, with time.  I gave myself permission, an invitation to… Slow my breath… releasing guilt for taking the time to just ‘Breathe’…Releasing the tension in the body, roaming thoughts of the mind.  The thoughts that stop, rest, sleep, that create a tired mind, body and soul.

Count My Blessings,  Let go of what I can’t control, Practice Kindness, Listen to my Heart, Just Breathe.

Winter Solstice…

We are finally here. .Today is Winter Solstice, the shortest day of the year…

Today is the first day of Winter.

When all things are really, bright and beautiful…

The shortest day of the year.

Let’s embrace today, the first day of Winter, glad tidings full of joy.

Look up in the sky to see, what shines so bright.

When Jupiter and Saturn….

New Moon…A New Start

New Moon 2020

I couldn’t quite get a photo of the New Moon Eclipse, but the dusky blue, grey light was a vision to capture. 

The New Moon is here…Its time to move forward…Move forward with a list of treats, blessings, joy and happiness…A time for harmony of the mind!

Soooo I have been creeping into this phase with dashes of “tired, but wired’ sleepless nights, vivid dreams.…I am bursting with New, fighting with old…My monkey mind, iffng and butting.  Making every thought and action, exhausting, guilty or unfulfilled.

Today, I pledge to myself to move forward into my destiny…Set my intentions, embrace the energy of the Moon, Release the fear, roaming thoughts….Ask myself What does the New Moon represent?…..

The New Moon represents the start of a new lunar cycle.  A time to start something new, start a fresh.. begin a new chapter, project…

I invite you to use the Energy of the New Moon, to set intentionsNEW BEGINNINGS, reflect on the old, set intentions for the new.

Refresh the mind, body & soul…with daily Meditation, Affirmations…Create mediation between the Mind & Body

What would you like to create? What are you feeling? Is your ‘Mind’ the mediator, Or is your ‘Body’ the mediator?

Relax into this moment…Bask in the sleepless nights, to free your mind of roaming thoughts. Use the power of your breath….To just breathe…inhale deeply……Pause, take a moment…to grasp the new, positive, gratitude of life. Vision of the blessings.

Inspire your mind, using the breath of life…Giving you new thoughts, intentions...

Exhale deeply using the strength and the power of your lungs…..Let go of Negativity, blocks….to clear the old, what no longer serves you. Giving you Grace, time to be reflective.

There is nothing holding you back, but you, yourself, I, Me, yes you, my darling…Take this moment your moment release, let go....For the new.

What did the Beaver Moon do?

If you have had the opportunity to attend a yoga session, workshop, or read my profile.  Everything I do is organic….authentic. I do not teach, share what I have not experienced or done myself.

BEAVER MOON

I am therefore at ease, in my comfy zone. Embracing a Hygge environment.  I lay back into my large puffy pillows & cushions; melting deep into my bed from the weight of my not double, not King, but Queen size duvet.

Can I be honest, get up close & personal?

Ok….lets do this.  My mind & body are working to please themselves, not each other.  This is becoming increasingly difficult to manage myself physically & emotionally.

Relaxing, falling into  to share my thoughts and feelings.  Quite frankly the Beaver Moon has left me a feeling….Mmm dishevelled…Mmm drained…not really sure if I have a word, a description.

I feeling an over flow of…busyness of the mind, Busyness to share things all things….all things Bright & Beautiful Bubbling…in my mind in my being…’Like a ‘Babbling Brook’

At the same time…there is an element of Mmm..I’ll do it later…Mmm maybe thats too much information..planning, thinking, planning, thinking. Its like eat sleep, play repeat….

For now I will sleep 💤…..Play will come….the time is rest & sleep. Long deep breathing. Relax into the warmth of my bed & recharge…& reflect by the light of the moon.

The universe has given me the opportunity to pause on teaching weekly Yoga sessions.

Giving in to a spontaneous practice that consists of going with the flow…A chat with God…Long deep breathing, Deep transitional thoughts…hurriedly scripting the roaming thoughts.

Returning to my mat with a less busier mind…but only to be now writing the thoughts down…using my eyes, has a pen & the paper a scroll screen in the sky

The first line reads…Woman, Woman you have many, many things to do…..
